The new Web- applications enhance the Web-based Preventive Maintenance Application application. These improvements further complement the ARCHIBUS provision, recently named by Gartners as a 'Leader' in their Magic Quadrant.

The new ARCHIBUS Preventive Maintenance application assists organisations in proactively maintaining critical equipment and infrastructure to avoid costly repairs, lengthy downtimes and decreased productivity. By automating the preventive maintenance process, organisations are able to perform critical maintenance tasks on-schedule and with fewer errors. Through automation, organisations also gain efficiency by being able to balance schedules and resources and also track planned and actual maintenance work.

ARCHIBUS Preventive Maintenance provides easy-to-use, Web-based forms for all users involved in the preventive maintenance process. First, work definers use the forms to create detailed work procedures, assign these procedures to equipment and/or locations, and create schedule rules for each equipment - procedure and location - procedure combination.

Next, maintenance managers generate work orders and work requests for specified time periods. The application uses the work definitions and schedule information to generate work requests complete with instructions for performing the maintenance work, at the time that the is needed, with the correct resources to get the job done.

After the work is finished, the service provider updates work requests with actual information about the job so maintenance costs can be automatically calculated and reported.

Enhancements to Existing Web Application

Reservations Application - locations can now be associated with time zones so that when you reserve rooms in buildings across the world, the times that the system indicates reflect the local time zones in which the rooms and resources are located. Also new to ARCHIBUS Version 17.3 are features that enable you to define what happens when the approval window for a room reservation expires.

Lease Administration Application - additional reports and charts are provided to complement the existing Lease Administration tasks. You can easily gain a broader and deeper understanding of the lease portfolio and can better estimate the workload for managing lease renewals and transactions.
