Mass’ Bar-Coded Asset Tracking module enables you to add even more value to your ARCHIBUS system.
Working on the principle of bar-codes and on-site data capture using portable hand-held data loggers with integrated laser scanners, this product is quick and easy to use.
Assets and locations are individually bar coded, providing each piece of equipment, furniture or room with its own unique identifier.
During the asset survey, these bar codes are read using the scanner. Additional information relating to assets (for example, condition or value) can also be recorded during the survey.
The survey data is then downloaded into ARCHIBUS and compared with the master inventory before automatically updating the asset register and, optionally, asset positions on linked CAD drawings.
Detailed reports of asset locations and associated information are fast and simple to produce.
Mass’ Bar-Coded Asset Tracking module is ideal where there are problems with locating assets in areas of high furniture and/or equipment churn, and where there is a need to identify individual assets uniquely. For example, where assets of the same type have different information associated with them, such as depreciated value or insurance valuation.
