Archibus Announces the Release of 17.1

ARCHIBUS have announced the release of the keenly awaited new version of their leading software solution.

ARCHIBUS is renowned for its sheer breadth of modular functionality, in particular that available on the web. Many ARCHIBUS users have taken advantage of ARCHIBUS WEBCENTRAL, getting access to their ARCHIBUS solution from any browser-based PC.

With Version 17 Archibus has enhanced this by introducing two new and exciting products:

• ARCHIBUS Overlay for Autodesk REVIT allowing users to integrate their building and design processes (BIM) with ARCHIBUS data,
• Geospatial Extensions for ESRI, a brand new WEB concept in the integration of geographical and
  mapping information, graphics and data (GIS) with ARCHIBUS.

Version 17 also sees new ARCHIBUS Helpdesk, Service Desk, and Reservations Modules move entirely onto the WEB, joining the recent Capital Budgeting, Project Management and
Enterprise Move Management Solutions, along with the core of Space, Property, Maintenance and Asset Management.

In typical style, Archibus has made major improvements to existing modules and functions producing the leading solution for the built environment in line with industry standard, yet state of the art, WEB and Windows technologies. ARCHIBUS ensures compliance and compatibility with associated technologies from Autodesk, Microsoft, Oracle and many others.
