Example Survey Standards - 2D Survey

Surveys are undertaken using hand held Laser Disto tapes coupled to a hand held microcomputer. This approach, which produces most of the CAD drawing during the survey process, allows us to establish and check accurately all building dimensions. Compared with other survey methods, significant improvements in survey quality are gained using this equipment. A precision of ± 5mm over 100meters is achievable with this equipment - giving a normal working accuracy of ± 25mm between any two points after building tolerances have been taken into account.
